What makes a great leader is the ability to ask for forgiveness in-spite of different opinions on a particular matter. It is now common knowledge that some of our national football team players were caught on camera in a liquor store wearing national gear. Zebras’ captain Joel ‘Juluka’ Mogorosi has come forward to apologize to the nation.
While there have been mixed feelings over the issue, Zebras’ skipper has admitted that such behavior is unacceptable. “We were caught in a moment and there is nothing to justify. We should have known better and we have to take a stick for that. We learn through such incidents and as a leader I am saying it is something that we’ll never repeat. We apologize sincerely to the nation,” said Mogorosi.
The Zebras face Malawi in an international friendly match at Francistown Sports Complex on Sunday. A week later, the Zebras face a mammoth task when they host Uganda in the 2017 African Nations Cup qualifier at the same venue.
