SALES AND MARKETING OFFICER
Main Purpose of the Job
The Marketing Officers role in the organisation is to market campaigns both internally and externally and plays a key part in communicating the organisations marketing message
Key Responsibilities Include:
Preparing, planning and project managing the publication of all publicity materials to maximise brand promotion
Creating marketing campaigns and working with the organisations operations manager to see them executed
Creating and developing new innovative ways to communicate the organisation services to new and existing customers
Contributing to the annual sales and marketing plan
Planning and managing marketing events
Evaluating the effectiveness of all marketing activities
Developing and implementing an internal marketing program
Supporting the manager in day to day marketing activities
Plan, develop and deliver campaigns within stipulated time frame
Working closely with all departments of the organisation to ensure marketing goals are met
Competencies:
The successful candidate should have good communication and interpersonal skills, team spirit, results oriented and initiative for community development. Honesty and trustworthiness
Minimum Qualifications
At least Diploma in Sales and Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism or any related field with two years experience working in an NGO environment.
Degree in Sales and Marketing will be an added advantage
