YOUTH CALLED ON TO ENGAGE LEGISLATORS TO INFLUENCE BUDGET SPEECH

Youth have been urged to engage with their legislators in order to advocate for youth issues to be considered in the budget speech.

Economic Commentator, Emmanuel Botlhale, said youth should put more effort to engage figures that have the capability to represent their needs in government instead of disregarding the importance of the budget speech.

Botlhale also said youth still have the opportunity to influence change in the budget speech if they put pressure on legislators to put emphasis on youth needs.
