Young Zebras Beat Zimbabwe On The U20 AFCON Qualifiers First Leg
It seems to be a better season for our national teams in terms of football. Following a win over Comoros of our senior team, Botswana national under 20 team under the guidance of Philemon Makgwenngwe were the latest to keep raising our flag high after beating young warrior by a solitary goal thanks to Goitseone Legopelo ‘s strike.
The boys out did themselves, looking at the fact that the odds were against them playing a strong team like Zimbabwe away. The 2nd leg will be played in Botswana after 3 weeks. Both teams are scrambling for a place in the under 20 CAF championships. We hope to take them to Francistown Stadium, where our lucky charm lies.
The man of the match went to our ever hard working goal keeper, Tumisang Selolwane. Well done boys, we are 100% behind you.
