Wynter Mmolotsi, the Member of Parliament for Francistown South has told Kagelelo Banks Kentse to stay within his lane. Mmolotsi was responding to a post by Kentse where he named SKI Khama Foundation’s effort in securing COVID-19 vaccines a stunt.

Mmolotsi reminded Banks of the countless times where the government told the nation that they are unable to get vaccines due low supply. According to Mmolotsi, SKI Khama Foundation’s contacts should be utilized in order to save lives. “Do not relegate yourself to the level of Mr Comical Alley of Iraq who denied everything during the Iraq/American war until Baghdad was almost finished. WE NEED GOVT RESPONSE NOT A RESPONSE FROM SOMEBODY WHO IS MILES AWAY FROM GOVERNMENT.” Mmolotsi charged.

However, Kentse remained resolute, even without evidence, that SKI Khama Foundation’s contribution towards getting vaccines is not legitimate. “We should make a formal enquiry through the US embassy and related parties. This will unearth the truth. Especially because American companies have to follow certain standards and bilateral agreements. We just need to expose the scam that he is trying to pull on Batswana.” he said.

Meanwhile, a letter from KKM Global Group was shared which shows that indeed the SKI Khama Foundation has been in contact with the said supplier. It has also been established that the letter indeed cones from the company in question.

“KKM is currently able to supply the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine. It has come to our attention that you have a need for 2 million doses. We will need 2 couple of items in order to process the inquiry including an end user certificate in the name of KKM (sample can be provided at your request), and aletter from the Ministry of Health stating that the vaccine is currently registered and approved for use or a letter stating that they will begin registration under an Emergency Use Authorization.” a letter from KKM Global Group, David Knott revealed.

SKI Khama Foundation through its Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Mogomotsi Kaboeamodimo had indicated in a press release that they have managed to secure vaccines for the country. The Foundation also announced that communication with the Ministry of Health has been made regarding the issue.

Though some people are sceptical about the company, after getting information that it was liquidated at the United Kingdom (UK), and if indeed SKI Khama Foundation’s claims are true, it appears everything is genuine.
