VERY INTENSE TROPICAL CYCLONE (FREDDY)
Tropical cyclone Freddy is currently classified as a category 4 cyclone still moving westward with maximum winds of 220 km/h, maximum gusts at sea of 315 km/h and center pressure of 931 hPa.
It is expected to make landfall over eastern Madagascar on Tuesday evening. Freddy will start moving into the Mozambican channel on Wednesday 22nd February 2023 and ultimately make landfall over Mozambique on 23rd February 2023. We will keep on monitoring its movement and update the public accordingly.
