TEMPORARY CONTACT CENTRE OFFICER – C4 SALARY SCALE X 1

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Responsible for dealing with customers via telephone, internet, e-mail and instant messaging and handling a variety of functions, including customer service, technical support and customer contact
DUTIES
• Manage the daily running of the Contact Centre.
• Handle and escalate customer issues.
• Deliver Call Centre reports on time.
• Answer and resolve the call in a professional manner by advising customers what is required of them in lodging a query.
• Identify further opportunities that can add value to the customer.
• Timely escalate issues and opportunities to the supervisor.
• Capture the necessary information with regards to the problem or incident, in the Problem Management System.
• Update the Problem Management System with the status of the logged issues.
KEY COMPETENCIES
• Effective communication both oral and written.
• Strong relationship building skills both internal and external.
• Demonstrate ability to prioritise activities.
• Ability to manage change effectively.
• Proficiency in general desk top operation particularly in Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Certificate/Diploma in Communications or equivalent.
• Qualification in Contact Centre Management is an added advantage
EXPERIENCE: At least one (1) year working experience in a Call Centre environment.
SALARY SCALE: C4 (P73,416 – P87,696) per annum
LEAVE: 25 Working days per annum
