Vacancy-Chemotherapy Registered Nurse

Will render and promote cost effective, quality patient care in accordance with Lenmed / Hospital standards and policies

Responsible for direct and / or indirect nursing care of a patient or a group of patients, for assessing, planning, executing and supervising the implementation of care to meet patient needs

• Careful assessment and monitoring of patient progress in order to watch for sudden or subtle changes in a patient’s medical condition
• Prepared to work long hours and deal with patients and their families, providing a therapeutic environment.
• Prepared to work long hours and deal with critically ill patients on a daily basis
• Communicate in a clear, concise manner appropriate to patient needs
• Knowledgeable and sensitive to patient’s rights in the delivery of care

Diploma/Degree in General nursing with Oncology Speciality, or at least 5 years experience in Oncology unit.

Registered with Nursing Council of Botswana

Minimum of five years experience as a practicing Nurse

Computer literacy
