US Africa Summit

His Excellency Dr Mokgweetsi Eric Keabetswe Masisi will tomorrow kick off a series of meetings in Washington USA. These sessions are part of the US Africa Summit that will be concluded with a visit to Houston Texas where the Government of Botswana is expected to sign a memorandum of understanding with the Texas A&M University, an institution that specializes in Engineering Technology and Agriculture. The MOU is part of a drive captured in the Reset Agenda wherein the Government of Botswana aims to increase the local livestock herd in terms of its numbers and breed quality. Representatives from the Ministries of Trade and Industry, Environment and Health are also at the Summit where they will meet their counterparts and start bilateral agreements that will enable Botswana to reach its goal of becoming a high Income country.
