Our athletics team continue to make us proud in the on going All Africa games. Even though some have missed out on the silverware, the athletes have thus far done a great job in improving their personal times. We are hopeful for medals from the likes of Nigel Amos and Isaac Makwala.
MEN 400M – SEMI FINALS
• Isaac Makwala finished 1st with 44.87 (qualified for the final scheduled for today at 1800hrs)
• Onkabetse Nkobolo got position 2 and clocked Season Best (SB) of 45.10 (Also qualified for the final with Makwala. The two will face-off later today at 1800hrs)
• Leaname Maotoanong got position 4
WOMEN 400M SEMI FINALS
• Lydia Jele finished on 4th position with Season Best (SB) of 52.57
WOMEN 100M FINALS
• Tsaone Sebele missed out the silverware after finishing on position 8
WOMEN 400M SEMI FINALS
• Christine Botlogetsve finished 7th
MEN 800M
• Nijel Amos still to compete in the Men 800m
