Two Secretaries Retire From Botswana Police Service

Botswana Police Service (BPS) hosted a farewell session in honour of two retiring Secretaries namely Ms Annah Letoane and Ms Rose Mmusi in Gaborone on Friday (02/12/2022).

Speaking at the event, the Director Departmental Management Services, Senior Assistant Commissioner of Police Mr Boeletswe Gobotswang thanked the retirees for the excellent service they rendered to the BPS. He described the retirees as dedicated and hardworking individuals who did their work diligently.

He encouraged them to continue using the principles they gained throughout the service in other aspects of their lives.

The Director urged the retirees constantly live a healthy lifestyle by keeping fit. Mr Gobotswang urged the retirees to partake in community initiatives such as Cluster Policing. He further wished them well in their future endeavours.

For her part, one of the retirees Ms Letoane said she learnt a lot during her tenure and that she will continue to partner with BPS in the fight against crime. She also expressed gratitude to the BPS and her fellow colleagues for the support they gave her whilst in the service, adding that they should continue showing that love to their co-workers.

Ms Letoane was based at Police Headquarters and served for 21 years while Ms Mmusi who served for 18 years was based at Transport and Telecommunication Branch(TTB).
