Trevor Noah Misses His Show For An Emergency Appendix Operation
South African comedian Trevor Noah missed his show as host of The Daily Show on Wednesday night as he had to undergo emergency surgery. According to a statement released by Comedy Central on Wednesday Trevor underwent an emergency appendectomy.
“We’re happy to report that the procedure went well and he is currently recuperating from surgery,” Comedy Central said in a statement. An encore episode of The Daily Show was aired in the States on Wednesday night instead.
Noah took over as host of The Daily Show in September, succeeding Jon Stewart, who stepped down in August after 15 years.
