Renowned for his electrifying performances and deep-rooted love for traditional music, pint-sized maestro Ditiro Leero is set to headline the inaugural Jwaneng Leteisi Affair this Saturday at the Jwaneng Rugby Grounds. The much-anticipated cultural event will also feature stellar performances from top artistes including Kgokgonono, My Star Season 9 winner Motlha, and the event host, Kgarebe ya Setso.
Organized by Diphetogo Othusitse—affectionately known in music circles as Kgarebe ya Setso—the event aims to celebrate culture while giving back to the community. With its strong focus on philanthropy, the Jwaneng Leteisi Affair seeks to raise funds for charitable initiatives, particularly those that uplift and support the girl child in the Jwaneng area.
“Part of the proceeds will go towards purchasing sanitary towels for girls in our schools here in Jwaneng,” Othusitse shared, expressing hope that the event will continue to grow and touch even more lives in the future.
The Jwaneng Leteisi Affair promises a vibrant fusion of traditional music, cultural pride, and social responsibility. With its powerful lineup and noble mission, the event is poised to become a highlight on the local entertainment and charity calendar, showcasing the power of music and culture to inspire change.
