Three months to fill the vacancies

Following the unfortunate passing on of the elected councillors for Metsimotlhabe Polling District in the Gabane-Mmankgosi Constituency on the 22nd February 2020 and Boseja South Polling District in the Mochudi East Constituency on the 26th February 2020, it was expected that in accordance with Section 18 (1) of the Local Government Act, the by-elections “‘ be conducted within three months to fill the vacancies.
