The Office of President wishes to inform members of the public about the minor injury of Vice President

The Office of President wishes to inform members of the public that, following the minor injury sustained by His Honour Mr. Slumber Tsogwane, Vice President of the Republic of Botswana, and the subsequent sick leave that was granted to him, His Honour will return to office on Monday 19th September 2022.

During the period that His Honour Mr. Slumber Tsogwane is on sick leave, Honourable Dr. Kefentse Mzwinila, Minister of Lands and water Affairs, will continue to discharge the functions of the Office of the President, which role was effected from the 14th September 2022, as previously communicated by the press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
