The Ministry of Labour and Home Affairs in collaboration with the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) is currently hosting a four-day (4) capacity building workshop effective yesterday(4th July 2022) for Immigration officers in Botswana.The purpose of the workshop which is held under the theme “Addressing the Challenges of Mixed Migration : Protection and Assistance of Migrants( including victims of trafficking,asylum seekers and refugees in mixed flows in Botswana” is to equip Immigration officers with skills and knowledge that fulfil the rights and protection needs of migrants,victims of trafficking and smuggling.
