The Mighty Zebras Kick Namibia Out Of COSAFA

The match went into a straight into penalty shootout after a 1-1 draw following an action-packed second-half. Hotto’s shot was saved by Masule in sudden death and Botswana emerged 5-4 winners on penalties. As a result, tournament hosts Namibia will be unable to defend their title, while the Zebras of Botswana progressed to the semi-finals.

The preparations for the semi final game against DR Congo are ongoing and the team will have light session this afternoon. Botswana High Commissioner to Namibia invited the team for lunch yesterday and later Zebras went to watch Mozambique vs DR Congo game. Well done Zebby.
