On the margins of The US-Africa Leaders Summit, the International Conservation Caucus Foundation hosted a dinner for African Heads of State attending the US Africa Business Seminar.
Speaking at the event, His Excellency Dr Mokgweetsi Eric Keabetswe Masisi, expressed the conservation and developmental challenges that African leaders are confronted with at national and regional level.
He said that an increase in the population of both elephants and humans, has led to a rise in the number of incidents of human wildlife conflict.
The ICCF also aims to integrate and align conservation programs across multiple landscapes with proper US policy, funding and natural resource management expertise.
