Thabang goes lit at Georges
The ‘Ke a gana’ hit-maker Thabang Garogwe sure did bring some life to the Georges Pub in Broadhurst in Gaborone yesterday. Dressed in style and in shades, the jazz sensational was on some all eyes on me tip, his walk into the pub was commanding respect the way that a celebrity or any star should when making entrance into a public place. The pub that used to be a beehive in its own way was sure brought to life again yesterday when the singer graced it with friends.
The mostly whites dominated pub was on some lit mode because of the jazz star. The P60 plates were flying all over the place in an unusual way because it looked like the jazz master had brought a huge entourage into the pub. With dread-locks shoved up his head the jazz star was a lullaby of magnets. It is not only his voice that brings multitudes together but also his presence is forever felt.
