Tennis youngster wins big in kenya
Local tennis player Denzel Seetso this past weekend garnered himself two gold medals at the second leg of the ITF Under 14 tennis tournament held in Nairobi, Kenya. The tennis protege who has also garnered himself the Olympic Solidarity Fund scholarship walloped Mauritius’s Jake Liam in the finals.
The Botswana’s clay master then went on to partner Liam in the doubles finals to win another gold medal in the same event. Seetso’s win means that the young tennis king will qualify for the finals of the African Junior tennis championships that will be held later in the year at Casablanca, Morocco.
Denzel has been a master of his own game winning some of the most prestigious tennis events across Africa. He is currently training at the ITF/CAT tennis training center in Nairobi, Kenya which was officially opened last week by ITF President David Haggerty.
