Qualification:
Degree in Information Technology or related field from an accredited institution
Main Purpose Of The Job:
To capture animals data for the Botswana Animal Information and Traceability System( BAITS)
• Assists farmers to correctly complete the BAITS forms, capture, enter data, and ensure timely and accurate capture of returns into the system.
• Administer questionnaires to farmers and report to LITS based officers any queries as and when they arise and file the forms
• Register Livestock keepers, prints cars, ensures that BAITS is up and report if not
• Maintain and respect confidentiality of Information
• Study the program used, advice on how it can be improved if there is any loophole detected.
• Generate a weekly and monthly report on how many forms submitted, animals captured turnaround time and any other relevant issues
• Performs any other assigned tasks by the supervisor
