The athletics team out in London are making the nation proud once again with their sterling performances at the IAAF World Championships.
Even though Karabo Sibanda did not do well as he was recovering from an injury, the rest of the team did well and managed to qualify for the next round of the competitions.
On the 400m semis Baboloki Thebe finished at position 2 at 44.33 seconds, on the 400m final, Isaac Makwala finished on position 1 at 44.30 seconds. Nigel Amos also qualified for the finals after getting the second position at 1:46:29 on the 800m race.
Lydia jele also qualified finishing at the fastest time of 51.41 together with Amantle Montsho who finished on position 2 with a Season Best (SB) time of 51.37.
Christine Botlogetswe sadly missed out on the qualification berth after finishing on position 8 with a time of 53.80 in the women 400m heat 2.
