Tsotso Ngele’s Side Mamelodi Sundowns Wins PSL For The 8th Time!

Mamelodi Sundowns were crowned PSL champions after beating Amatuks in Pretoria last night. This is a record seventh championship victory for Sundowns since the start of the Premier Soccer League (PSL) in 1996, and it has come with two matches still to play this season.

The ‘Brazilians’ beat the University of Pretoria 3-0 at the Tuks Stadium to seal league glory with all three goals coming from Liberian marksman Anthony Laffor. Sundowns deserved the league as they have been the most consistent team the whole year and they have quality players.

After the match, club president Patrice Motsepe drove onto the field, and as he exited his vehicle on crutches, hundreds of fans stormed him to celebrate. Our very own football star, Mogakolodi Tsotso Ngele, is a prominent player for Sundowns. Well done Bafana ba style!
