State Visit to Botswana by the Governor General of the Bahamas
His Excellency Dr. Mokgweetsi Eric Keabetswe Masisi has warmly welcomed Her Excellency the Most Honourable Dame Cynthia Alexandria Pratt, Governor General of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas, for a State visit to Botswana. The visit, which began today, is scheduled to conclude on August 2, 2024.
The primary objective of this State visit is to bolster the existing bilateral relations between Botswana and the Bahamas. The two nations will explore opportunities to deepen their cooperation in several key sectors, including Tourism, Finance, Trade, and Investment.
Her Excellency Dame Cynthia Alexandria Pratt is accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Honourable Frederick A. Mitchell, along with other senior government officials. This delegation aims to engage in discussions that will pave the way for enhanced collaboration and mutual benefits between the two countries.
As the visit progresses, it is anticipated that both nations will outline strategic initiatives to strengthen their partnership and address areas of shared interest.
