Stakeholder Participation Vital
Stakeholder participation and involvement brings about better understanding and decision-making that is beneficial to the success of a project or assignment, at the same time breaking barriers of silo approach when delivering government programmes and projects. This was said by the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Education and Skills Development Ms. Merriam Maroba during a briefing held between her Ministry and the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development.
The Ministry believes in the notion of “Morero” (consultation) hence an engagement with the Ministry of Education and Skills Development (MoESD) on the new Ipelegeng Skills Development Component on how the two sister Ministries can collaborate and discuss further on the role MoESD can play within the programme through the Out of School Education and Training (OSET) and Skills Development.
