Batswana’s dreams to see their national team compete for the first time at the World Cup has once again died. Last night Mali beat Botswana 2-0 in Mali. Cheick Diabate scored the first goal, which was a penalty, and Bakary Sako scored the second goal that made us lose hope. This left the overall results to Mali 3-2 Botswana in aggregate.

The following African teams have qualified to the 3rd Round which is the group stages.

Zambia, Morocco, Gabon, Uganda, Guinea, CongoDR, Libya, Cameroon, Congo, Ghana, Nigeria, Egypt, Ivory Coast, South Africa, Tunisia, Burkina Faso , Algeria, Cape Verde, Mali and Senegal.
