Youth Business Expo 2016 Brings Together Young Entrepreneurs
Yesterday morning the Ministry of Youth Sports and Culture, Thapelo Olopeng, officiated at the Youth business expo, the first of its kind. The attendance was amazing as 210 stalls were provided for zealous youth entrepreneurs. The expo is scheduled to take place over a period of six days starting May 24th – 29th, 2016 and will serve as a platform where youth people can showcase wares from their businesses.
Youth businesses showcasing at the fair include, those funded by the Ministry, self funded youth businesses and those that have been funded by various funding streams. The forum is targeting youth fromGaborone, Ramotswa, Molepolole, Mochudi, Lobatse, Kanye and surrounding villages.
The main objective of the Forum is to share with the youth, business opportunities and enterprise development services availed by the Ministry and its Parastatals. We have serious young business men and women in this country. Please let’s go and support our young people.
Subsequent Youth Business Fora will be held in the following areas at dates to be announced:
• Francistown For youth in Masunga, Tutume, Tonota, Kasane and surrounding villages.
• Kang For youth in Tsabong, Hukuntsi, Jwaneng, Ghanzi and surrounding villages.
• Palapye For youth in Mahalapye, Palapye, Serowe, Letlhakane, Selibe Phikwe and
surrounding villages.
• Maun For youth in Maun, Shakawe, Gumare and surrounding villages.
