Sales Representative Wanted At PG Glass Gaborone

 Scope And Purpose Of The Role:

To grow profitable sales and focus on new customers. Total emphasis on Customer service. Special emphasis should be to ensure management of stock levels, preparing daily schedules and keeping optimum stock levels, ensuring good housekeeping.

Principal Accountabilities

Increase Sales
Grow sales volumes to meet the budget by product in the allocated region.
Manage and grow local customer database and focus on solid relationship building
Identify new business to canvas in the region and feedback to Branch Manager
Feedback to Branch Manager of customers as well as any potential deals
Maximise visibility in the market through effective time management and complying to 8-12 calls per day.
Attend weekly meetings with the Branch Manager to ensure that all sales opportunities are attended to e.g. A-Z customers, brokers in the area, local opportunities
Identify joint marketing opportunities with customers
Ensure local deals are communicated to, and implemented by the Sales Centre

Promote Profitability
Manage controllable expenses

Administration
Implement sales and marketing strategies on time and correct for positive growth
Ensure local customers are equipped with PG Glass marketing material.
Ensure sales related statistics, reporting and analysis are accurate and complete

General
Maintain high code of conduct
Comply with prescribed dress code
Attend industry events/meetings outside normal working hours in order to promote PG Glass and network for the region.

Educational Background & Experience:

The minimum education requirement for the job is a Grade 12 certificate with Diploma/Degree in Sales and Marketing
3 Years experience in the Glass Industry.
