Sad Note: E-Botswana Boss Mike Klinck Passes On

Mike Klinck has passed away. He died yesterday afternoon at one of the Gaborone private hospitals. He was on life support before succumbing to death.

Born in 22 June 1964 in Serowe, the half Motswana half German man was one of the senior media personalities and found of e-Botswana. A journalist by profession, Mike, as he was popularly known worked in the local print media for many years, before he took up an executive job with Barclays Bank Botswana for almost two decades.

He is infamously known for suing SABC and Sentech in his capacity as the Director of e-Botswana for the illegal broadcasting of SABC in Botswana, and won the case. The local media fraternity has indeed suffered a loss.
