SA stars headline gospel awards

Rumor has it that with just a week since the gospel star Winnie Mashaba has held her debut concert at the Boipuso Hall last weekend, she is yet to appear in one more gospel treat this coming Saturday. This weekend BaIsago convention center will play host to the opening gospel awards. This comes after another set of gospel awards were held here in Gaborone almost a little over two weeks ago.

Alongside Winnie Mashaba will be Sello Matete. The South African has been hailed as key player in the gospel fraternity and is expected to startle audiences at the gospel awards. Sello is one of the leading singers with Spirit praise of South Africa. Some of the performances will be coming from the locals in likes of Voice of change, Matheke and Obakeng among others. It is the first in one year that the gospel industry gets to have more than one awards.
