Gaborone based football gladiators Township Rollers continues to break the strides after conquering the BTC Premiership league.

The mma Masire Outfit claimed their third consecutive BTC premiership trophy on Tuesday night after they smacked Lobatse’s Extension Gunners with a 2 nil victory. The match that had attracted multitudes of Popa fans was certainly one sided with Township making most of the commands in the game.

It is no doubt the club is deserving to be named the most rich and financially stable club in the country.Township Rollers which is also under the boost of Gaborone popular businessman Jagdish will garner with them P1.3 million. Township Rollers will gainers money from their CAF qualification into the continent’s most prestigious club tournament on top of the Mascom Top 8 trophy clinching.
TRIPLE SUCCESS
The Blues have seen more success than any other club in Botswana in a single season.Township Rollers became the first club from Botswana to make it into the group stages of the CAF Club tournament,which can be said to be their biggest achievement so far in their resume.Rollers went on to claim the Mascom Top 8 trophy making it the second club after Gaborone United to win more than one Top 8 trophy since its inaugural contest.
