Rick Ross Joins Cast Of ‘The House Next Door’
Rick Ross is moving into The House Next Door. The Maybach Music Group boss is set to star in the sequel to Meet the Blacks.
Rozay joins a cast that finds Mike Epps back in his starring role and Deon Taylor back in the director’s chair. The film, currently shooting in Atlanta, also features Danny Trejo and comedians Katt Williams, Andrew “King Bach” Bachelor, Lil Duval, and Michael Blackson.
The House Next Door follows Meet the Blacks, which grossed $9 million at the box office last year, according to Deadline.
Epps has been known to blend his comedy with hip-hop. In the past, he’s worked with Ice Cube in the Friday series and with Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa in Mac & Devin Go to High School. More recently, he was part of 21 Savage’s new “Bank Account” visual.
This marks the latest step into movie theaters for Renzel Bossington. In March, the MMG boss announced an upcoming film featuring Gucci Mane. “Me and Guwop gonna film our first movie,” he said. “We doing that independently. We gon’ be beginning that in the next three months. That’s coming. That’s official. They gonna see us swerving.”
Earlier this year, Ross dropped Rather You Than Me and he is now working on Port of Miami 2: Born to Kill.
