Ben Ouattara, the newly appointed Chief Executive Officer of Puma Energy, recently paid a courtesy call on the Minister for State President, Honourable Moeti Mohwasa, to reaffirm the company’s dedication to Botswana’s economic development. The meeting underscored Puma Energy’s commitment to expanding its presence in the country while supporting key national priorities.
During discussions, Ben Ouattara emphasized Puma Energy’s focus on increasing investment in Botswana, creating more employment opportunities for Batswana, and contributing to the diversification of the economy. The Minister commended Puma Energy for its ongoing contributions to Botswana, particularly its generous donation of P100,000.00 towards the national flood relief fund. With malaria cases on the rise and nine lives already lost to the disease, Honourable Mohwasa appealed to Puma Energy to extend its assistance by donating test kits and mosquito nets. He emphasized the importance of public-private partnerships in combating health crises and improving the well-being of Batswana.
