The Office of the President wishes to inform members of the public that His Excellency Mr Festus Gontebanye Mogae, Former President of the Republic of Botswana, is unwell and receiving treatment in hospital.

Former President Mogae who is 83 years old, has been admitted at a hospital in Johannesburg, South Africa, where he is reported to be recovering steadily.

The Office of the President will keep on updating the nation on the health of Former President Mr Festus Mogae, and to this end, members of the public are encouraged to pray for his speedy recovery.
