President Mokgweetsi E. K. Masisi addressed at the BCIU event

His Excellency, the President Mokgweetsi E. K. Masisi gave a keynote address at the Business Council for International Understanding (BCIU) event in celebration of the 7th Replenishment of the Global Fund to fight TB, Malaria and HIV/AIDS.

The event held at the Havard Club of New York, focused attention on the health infrastructure development supported by the Global Fund, particularly the key role that diagnostics plays in the response to HIV, TB and Malaria as well as emerging pandemics. The event was attended by foreign delegations, UN officials, philanthropic organisations and the academic.

Botswana has been a beneficiary of this Fund and her efforts have been widely recognised.
