Pontsho Moloi To Retire From Football

This might just be the last season for Mochudi Center Chiefs strike Pontsho Piro Moloi. He will reportedly play his last beMOBILE Premiership match this weekend, as he is set to retire at the end of this season.

The resignation of the player hasn’t been yet finalized, haven’t yet but there has been hinters that the skipper is about to call it quits. “We are talking about a club captain a legend. He will get a sending off he deserves. He has talked about that informally. The club will make an announcement on this regard,” the club PR Clifford Mogomotsi told Botswana Premiere League.

Piro, as he is affectionately known by fans, has played for only two elite clubs in Botswana, being  Notwane FC and Mochudi Centre Chiefs. He was introduced to top flight football by former Notwane coach Paul Moyo. He was later to be recruited to Chiefs, where he spent the rest of his career.
