Police dethrones BDF Cats

Netball lovers from across Botswana witnessed thrilling action from Botswana’s leading teams this past Saturday as they went head to head with one another. Police was a force to be reckoned with as they sent many teams packing winning both the men and ladies contests.

Police ladies netball team gained themselves a whooping P 35 000 in prize money from the league contest. Later in the day the men team were officially launched as the first male team to win the elite league trophy. International netball federation this year issued a letter to national associations and federations noting that they must establish men teams.The league was sponsored by the gigantic retail store Spar with a P400 000 cash prize.
