Police appeal for information and calm

Following an incident in which Good Hope Police Station was attacked and robbed of a
number of rifles and ammunition by unknown criminals on the morning of the 28 June
2022, we have instituted an intensive and focused investigation. As we are convinced that
this is the work of an organised criminal syndicate we have since activated all the necessary

protocols and measures to apprehend the culprits.
In the meantime, we would like to assure members of the public of our total commitment
and dedication to delivering on our mandate of providing a safe and secure environment.
We promise to continue improving the manner in which we carry out the business and
reinforce where we identify gaps.

Once again, we would like to appeal to anyone with information that could lead to the arrest
