OSET Level 3 adult learners beadwork Graduation
Out of School Education and Training OSET held a graduation ceremony for level 3 learners in bead work.The ceremony was hosted at Matsha Lifelong Learning Centre and four regions being Central, Kgatleng, Kweneng and Kgalagadi participated. Speaking at the event Kgosi Basadi Seipone said learners should take pride in their skills learning as any other education as their kind of education demonstrate skill and understanding. The facilitator for the 7 weeks training course Ms Tshegofatso Kerebotswe reiterated that the life skill training is especially important to women because they are the ones who are left behind to raise children. She said with the skills they gained they can be able to raise their families saying herself depends on bead crafts. She encouraged the graduates to come together and form cooperatives and businesses. From the graduating 19 learners it was also noted that males lag behind in participating in OSET skills training.
