Are you 13 to 18 years old and love storytelling? Do you want to contribute to your community? What positive changes do you want to work toward? Enter the U.S Embassy ‘My Botswana Storytelling Contest 2017’ today and you could be amongst the 10 lucky winners! Creatively express your ideas about the opportunities and challenges you face through a written story or video.

The U.S. Embassy is committed to helping to Botswana’s youth be engaged and empowered to positively influence and contribute to their communities. This storytelling competition encourages youth to think creatively and to express their ideas about the opportunities and challenges that shape their present through stories. What challenges in your community do you want to solve? What great things are happening in your community and what role do you want to play?

Write your story, or tell your story using video (performance, music, animation, etc.) and submit your entry on or before March 13, 2017. Great prizes await!
