Official launch of Makabaneng international creative arts festival

Makgabaneng International creative arts festival was filled with insight as it launched its carnival event yesterday afternoon.
The initiative seeks to redifine the creative arts as a vehicle to spearhead and sensitize interpretation and dissemination of imperative issues through artistic craft.
Master classes to educate on the theme “DIGITALISATION AS A BUSINESS MODEL” were held, led by the industry Guru’s.
Among the panelists were South African Actress Lusanda Mbane, Pascar Proctor, Douglas Newell and David Moepeng.
Among the many objectives Makgabaneng Executive Director Tony Buru stated , is to share knowledge that if this industry is given the optimum attention it requires it will produce immense impact and results beyond what is witnessed today. The aim is to reach international standard, attract funding opportunities, to create jobs and celebrate local art beyond boarders.
The event will be followed by a Botique festival, a Women in Business Seminar and concluded by a Gala dinner.
