The Directorate of Public Service Management informs all graduates who have already registered with the Unemployed Graduates at DPSM as of the 11th November 2020 that their profiles have been transferred to the Labour Market Observatory Office at Human Resource Development Council (HRDC)
The Job Seekers Database (JSD) of the Labour Market Observatory (LMO) was launched by the Human Resource Development Council (HRDC) in conjunction with the Directorate of Public Service Management (DPSM) and the then Ministry of Employment Labour Productivity and Skills Development (MELSD) on the 17th November 2020.
The JSD encompasses all job seekers including graduates hence the incorporation of graduate profiles into this arrangement. The affected graduates are therefore advised to visit the LMO website www.botswanalmo.org.bw to UPGRADE, UPDATE or UPLOAD their academic credentials.
The LMO website will provide access to the labour market, globally and across all sectors of the economy for job seekers (including graduates), hence the importance of updating their professional profiles comprehensively.
DPSM remains responsible for recruitment into the Public Service which will be executed by Ministries and Independent Departments who will utilize the JSD.
