A Graduate Intern Wanted At NBFIRA
The Non-Bank Financial Institutions Regulatory Authority invites highly motivated graduates to join its internship program which runs for a period of 2 years. During this period you will be developed on the job to acquire technical skills and gain exposure to enable you to demonstrate your potential.
Competencies
During your internship you will be assigned tasks and regularly assessed to test your ability and potential to:
• Interpret financial statements and show your technical understanding of financial rations.
• Advise customers on procedures (e.g for license application and renewals, fees and levies) and understand entities’ products, services and processes.
• Handle customer complaints in line with stipulated procedures and submits periodic reports to the supervisor.
• Maintain a detailed register of industry members to facilitate ease of supervision
• Deliver on own job’s targets and outputs on time and in an efficient manner
• stay abreast with new developments to improve own efficiency
• Build relationships with other members of own team and external parties within defined interactions
Qualifications
• Degree in Economics, Law, Statistics, Actuarial Sciences, Accounting, Finance, Business Management or related. Post graduate qualifications will be an added advantage
• Experience is not required but will be an added advantage.
