Nnunu Shares Her Red Carpet AFRIMMA Experience
Award winning jazz artist Nnunu Ramogotsi who was nominated for the Best female artist 2016 – Southern Africa, is having a ball in Texas USA. Although she did not win the ultimate award, Nnunu was all positive at the event, and she stole the show with a local design dress on the red carpet.
Her black and white dress, resembled our national animal the Zebra, this is one of the ways Nnunu sold her country to the world. Feeling herself, she posted this on Tweeter, “the best dressed at the Afrimma awards Dallas 2016.” This go-getter used this opportunity to network, and she had this to say in one of her posts, “meeting with the man behind AFRIMMA AWARDS and the co. Founder Mr Andorson and media coverage is the highlight of my trip here in Texas this far.”
Nnunu is still in the US doing her thing, and we are confident that she will come back a grown well rounded artist. AFRIMMA is the sole award ceremony in the Diaspora that caters to all musical genres including but not limited to: Afrobeats, Assiko, Bongo, Decale, Funana, Genge, Highlife, Hiplife, Kwaito, Lingala and Soukous.
