Netball finals this weekend

The My Spar My Botswana netball league that has been ongoing in the past 6 weeks is coming to an end this Saturday. The remaining league matches will be played at the BONA Courts in Gaborone. The league has been in limbo after the retail store cut ties with the association last year and only rekindled this year for another league showdown.

LADIES NOTWANE TEAM FALLS

Netball powerhouse Notwane ladies team has fallen last weekend in the quarterfinals event that was held in Orapa. The team that has a number of leading sporting elite players in the name of Tumisang, Chedza and even Natasha could not face the hurdle placed before them as they succumbed to defeat in the knock-out event of the tournament.

DEBUT MALE LEAGUE ACTION

This year the local netball governing body BONA, introduced the male category in the netball .In the semi-finals Notwane male team will face off with Prisons while Police will go head to head with BDF Cats in what has been referred to as fireworks match, Botswana force teams are hoping to thrill spectators to good match tactics.
