Mr. Ibu To Headline GIMC Comedy Show

Nigerian film star, John Okafor, populalrly know as Mr Ibu is set to headline the Gaborone International Music and Culture Week (GIMC) this year, but according to organisers; that is not the only reason he will come to Botswana. The funny man will also scout talent locally in a bid to shoot a movie centred on him coming to Botswana-much like what he did with the 2004 film Mr Ibu in London.

GIMC, now on its fourth year, has now become an international event. Last year they made history by becoming the first privately organised event to fill the National Stadium to capacity. Rated amongst top ten events to attend in Africa, GIMC is now on its 4th year running and are now looking into to venturing into the movie industry.
