Mokaragana Presenter Atamelang A Contestant In Beauty Pageant

She has been constantly body shamed, discredited for her fashion sense, presenting and even her dancing skills. But Atamelang Ogolo Marumolo has never let that get to her. She has been a presenter on Mokaragana for years now and still exploring other creative areas.

Atamelang is now a contestant in a pageant dubbed Mrs Botswana, a pageant for married women.

MRS Botswana was registered as a brand in 2015 under Rock Solid Families Botswana; an organisation established by a local young couple. The couple wants to through the event help preserve marriages and families. The couple had realized that Botswana marriages and families experience some hardships in their family life and relationship journey and never really know places to seek guidance from or where to go for guidance and inspiration.

The was crafted after establishing that there is need to: help build healthy marriages, help curb divorce rates in this country, Interact and liaise with Marriage Counselors and Marriage Officers, Sensitize the public on issues affecting marriages through available and possible media, Establish forms of entertainment, inspirations and team building that will benefit couples and their families and Interact with international organizations to benchmark how their marriages survive.

Mrs Botswana’s main aim is to create a good relationship in families where there will be transparency and peace to build happy healthy and sustainable marriages and families in Botswana. The organization works in collaboration with the Marriage Counselling Association where they are affiliated to execute its aims purpose.

The Mokaragana presenter who was at one point a contestant on the My Star seem to be a woman of many talents and we cannot wait for this pageant, maybe she will be the chosen one.
