Mochudi Centre Chiefs VS Township Rollers Judgement On Monday
This has been by far the most controversial case in our football history. The case to determine the overall winner of the 2015/16 beMOBILE Premiership season will drag on for at least another week. Township Rollers and Mochudi Centre Chiefs have made submissions before the National Disciplinary Committee.
Chiefs’ argument is that when information about a defaulter is brought to the knowledge of relevant authorities, points ought to be deducted. Rollers, on the other hand, profess a not guilty state and were comfortable with a monetary fine.
After a lengthy debate on points of law, the committee ordered that both parties submit the last papers. It was ordered that both teams make final submissions before this Friday and judgement will be passed on Monday next week. We can’t wait for this case to rest, and let football proceed!
