Miss Botswana, Palesa Molefe Opens Up About Her Wardrobe Malfunction At The Miss World Grand Finale
Miss Botswana recently revealed that she had a wardrobe malfunction but is greatful for the love and sisterhood she experienced during this frustrating period. In a social media post she wrote;
“It is such an honor to have proudly represented my country last night. I am proud of myself and I’m proud of us, Botswana. I might have been the one on the stage but we all poured out our hearts and put ourselves out there. That on its own is the bravest thing we’ve ever done. I hope we can continue with this attitude and brilliance in finding strength in our vulnerability.
To my Miss World sisters, it really takes a village. Yesterday the stakes were high and you all did exceptionally well, I am proud of every single one of you. And @karolinabielawska you make an absolutely Beautiful Miss World and I wish you all The success in your reign. @olivia.yace and @manasa5varanasi, my sisters, thank you for being there for me last night. I had a wardrobe malfunction with my dresses you didn’t hesitate to give me yours. It’s what we do, we are there for each other and hold each other up even in the middle of The Miss World Grand Finale. I might have not been able to wear either of my dresses but I was supported by my sisters backstage last night. A bond not taken lightly. Wishing all of my Miss World Sisters love, light and success. Till our paths cross again.”
