Miss Africa Botswana Dethroned Of Her Throne

With a few months before the continental grand finale of Miss Africa pageant, beauty queen Peelo Mookodi has been dethroned as Miss Africa Botswana after allegedly breaching the contract by contesting in a modelling competition. According to the Miss Africa rules and regulations, a titleholder is not allowed to participate in other pageants and competitions while they are still in office.

Through their Facebook Page, Miss Africa Botswana have announced that with immediate effect, Miss Peelo Mookodi will step down from her position as Miss Africa Botswana 2015 queen due to her being recently crowned Top Model Africa 1st Princess contrary to their agreement of that she cannot hold any other title other than the Miss Africa Botswana 2015-16 Queen during her reign.

According to the Miss Africa rules and regulations , a titleholder is not allowed to participate in other pageants and competitions while they are still in office. They have welcomed Miss Modioki Gaborone to take over this Honorable position and continue this honorable duty as Miss Africa Botswana 2015-16. Mookodi’s dethroning means that she will not be receiving cash prize of P100,000 that she was supposed to receive.
